Yannick Alléno : new Chef at 30 Montaigne, Dior's iconic address

Dior announces an unprecedented collaboration with Yannick Alléno, an emblematic figure of French gastronomy.

From September, he will take the helm of the Monsieur Dior restaurant at 30 Montaigne, along with La Pâtisserie – renamed “Le Jardin“ – and Le Café: three venues dedicated to the art of living, located in the townhouse that saw the birth of the Maison in 1946, which is still home to its historic ateliers.

“What would Christian Dior do if he were to create a restaurant today?” Guided by this question, Yannick Alléno has created an exclusive menu that is like a collection, where forms and textures echo the couture universe, the archives and Dior looks.

Among the key inspirations are nature and flowers that Monsieur Dior was passionate about. Heritage and innovation converge to propose a unique culinary experience that fuses the chef’s innovative techniques and the art of hospitality so dear to the founding-couturier.

“Like Christian Dior, I am rooted in my era. What I propose is to bring the spirit of the couturier to the cutting edge of contemporary culinary creation. Imagining a restaurant according to his vision, breathing new life into his spirit at the very heart of the boutique. A place that offers customers a défilé of flavors on their plates every day. I want this lively place to fully embody its era, just as the House of Dior has always done with couture.“ Yannick Alléno
